I work from the heart and I'm passionate about helping children and adults feel empowered, confident individuals who can achieve their dreams. I wanted to create a nurturing space to give people the chance to explore and express themselves in a safe environment and to teach them skills to cope with life's challenges and to find solutions to problems. Above all, to become self-accepting and practice kindness to others. If we can do that, we can make the world a better place.

I worked as a Rudolf Steiner teacher for 8 years, in 2001 I was nominated for the National Excellence in Teaching Award. Seeing the need to further my education to work with children and parents, I obtained my Diploma through the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling.

I ran a support group within the school to assist children experiencing social and emotional difficulties, and worked after hours tutoring children with learning difficulties. I went on to study further and created a "Life Skills Program" for kids. I currently facilitate Art Therapy workshops in the school holidays.

An interest in natural therapies led me to study EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Metaphysical Healing, Art and Sandplay Therapy, Reiki and Bush Flower Essences.
